This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route spans a distance of 12.548 kilometers with an elevation gain of 818 meters, taking approximately 4 hours and 56 minutes to complete. The trail is located in a picturesque area surrounded by natural beauty.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently situated at the trailhead. It's recommended to bring plenty of water with you as the trail progresses. Approximately 3.7 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a lovely picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a snack.
Around the midway point of the trail, at a distance of 6.27 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning Ḷḷaguna de Sobia, a beautiful water feature that serves as a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery.
As you continue on your adventure, you may encounter the historic Castillo de Alesga, located about 0.55 kilometers off the trail. While it may be tempting to explore, it's important to stay on the designated path for safety reasons.
Towards the end of the hike, approximately 3.95 kilometers from the start, you'll find Fonte Requexu, a refreshing spring where you can replenish your water supply before heading back.
