Welcome to the hiking route to Krumpenbachfall! This moderate 5.957-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a beautiful experience in the surroundings of Hirnalm. The route has an elevation gain of 446.0 meters and is expected to take around 2 hours and 29 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across Hirnalm, a quaint restaurant just 0.06 kilometers from the trailhead, offering a perfect spot to grab a bite before you begin. Further along the trail at 0.03 kilometers in, you'll find a drinking water station to refill your supplies. As you continue, 1.01 kilometers from the start, there is an information point providing insights into the area's history and wildlife.

Midway through the hike, approximately 1.68 kilometers in, you'll encounter a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views of the surroundings. About 2.94 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Krumpalmhütte, an alpine hut where you can rest and experience traditional Austrian hospitality.

A highlight of the trail is the Krumpenbachfall waterfall, located 2.98 kilometers from the start. The waterfall offers a stunning natural spectacle and is a perfect turnaround point for your hike. Nearby, at the same distance, you'll find a spring to refresh yourself before heading back.
