Welcome to the hiking route to Messnerin! This challenging out-and-back trail spans approximately 7.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 968 meters, taking around 4 hours and 10 minutes to complete.

The hike begins at the parking area near Messnerin. As you start your journey, you'll encounter Ambrosi Bründl, a natural spring providing fresh drinking water just 0.94 kilometers from the start. It's a great spot to fill up your water bottle before tackling the trail.

Around 1 kilometer into the hike, you'll come across a memorial site, Ambrosi Bründl, commemorating a historic event. Further along the path at 2.37 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Grüner See-Blick, a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.

As you continue your ascent, you'll pass by Windscharte viewpoint at 2.43 kilometers and Grüner See-Blick at 2.54 kilometers. These spots are perfect for a rest and to admire the scenery.

Midway through the hike, at 3.79 kilometers, you'll reach Messnerin, a peak that crowns the area with its majestic presence. The summit rewards hikers with breathtaking vistas that make the challenging ascent worth it.
