The trail starts at Piazza Martiri della Libertà where you can find parking facilities. As you begin your journey, you will come across the historic memorial Ai Caduti della Resistenza, commemorating the fallen heroes of the resistance movement.

As you progress along the route, you will pass by Campeggio Luna, a campsite offering a potential overnight stay option. Further ahead, at a distance of 4.38 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point providing insights about the surroundings.

Halfway through the hike, approximately 6.71 kilometers from the start, another information point awaits you, offering more details about the area.

At 6.86 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte Castelat, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness.

On your way back, you will pass by Casera Caseratte, a wilderness hut at 1.89 kilometers from the start, providing a rustic resting place amidst nature.
