This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Kochofen peak. The trail spans 7.8 kilometers round trip with an elevation gain of 888 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey.
You will start your hike at the parking area, located right at the trailhead. As you make your way up the trail, you will pass by a helpful information point that provides insights about the area. About a third of the way into the hike, you'll come across Gasthaus Stieber, a restaurant where you can replenish your energy before continuing your ascent.
The trail leads you through picturesque landscapes and eventually to the Kochofen peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. At the summit, you can take in the beauty of the natural surroundings before heading back down the same trail.
