This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you through the breathtaking Mount Timpanogos area, where you will discover the stunning Emerald Lake. The trail starts at the Mount Timpanogos Trailhead parking lot, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your journey. As you begin your hike, you will pass by a campsite named Mount Timpanogos, located about 0.13 kilometers from the start of the trail.

Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as Emerald Lake, situated 8.32 kilometers from the start of the trail. Here, you can take a break and enjoy the serenity of the lake, perhaps even stopping by the Emerald Lake Shelter located nearby.

As you continue on, you will come across a beautiful waterfall approximately 1.82 kilometers from the start of the trail, adding to the scenic experience of your hike.
