Starting at the Giant Mountain Ridge Trail, hikers will venture through the lush forest surroundings, with various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the Zander Scott Trail-Register, where you can learn more about the area's history and wildlife. As you continue, you'll come across the Giant Washbowl, a beautiful natural water feature just over a kilometer from the start.

These sites offer a convenient place to rest and refuel before reaching the highlight of the trail – the Giant Washbowl Overlook.
