This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Sandfeldkopf peak, spanning a distance of approximately 24.955 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1642 meters. The route is expected to take around 9 hours and 52 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area located at the trailhead, you will begin your journey through the picturesque landscape. After about 0.63 kilometers, you will pass by the Ausgleichsbecken Innerfragant water reserve, offering a serene and refreshing stop along the way. As you continue onwards, at around 2.55 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Speicher Haselstein water reservoir.

Approximately 8.85 kilometers into the hike, you will come across an information point providing insights into the surrounding area. Further ahead, at around 10.28 kilometers from the start, a natural spring awaits to quench your thirst.

The route features a climbing area known as the Klettergarten Innerfragant, situated approximately 0.1 kilometers from the start. As you approach the halfway mark, at 11.58 kilometers, you will reach the Bogenitzenscharte saddle, offering a breathtaking view of the surroundings.

Finally, after a challenging ascent, you will reach the majestic Sandfeldkopf peak, located 12.48 kilometers from the start. Take in the panoramic views before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
