This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you through the breathtaking Pyrenees mountains to the iconic Le Doigt peak. With a total distance of 12.729 kilometers and an elevation gain of 682 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at Parking du col des Tentes, you will begin your journey with a gradual ascent towards the majestic Puerto de Bujaruelo, which is about 1.65 kilometers from the starting point. Along the way, you will pass by the Abri de La Brèche de Roland, a cave entrance that is a popular stop for hikers, located at around 5.67 kilometers from the start.
Continuing on, you will reach the impressive Brèche de Roland, a saddle point that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, approximately 5.64 kilometers into the hike.
