This extremely difficult hike will take you on an out-and-back trail spanning 80.607 kilometers with an elevation gain of 3493 meters. The route starts at Fafleralp, a picturesque area offering parking facilities. As you embark on your journey, you'll pass by Stausee Ferden, a stunning reservoir located 10.17 kilometers from the trailhead.

Along the way, you'll encounter various points of interest such as Wohnturm der Viztume, an ancient castle situated 23.01 kilometers into the hike. There are also several water sources and parking areas strategically placed throughout the trail to ensure you stay hydrated and have convenient rest stops.
