This hiking route to Bryndli is an extremely difficult 12.033-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1516 meters. The total duration of the hike is estimated to be around 6 hours and 34 minutes.
The trail starts at a parking area located right at the trailhead. As you begin the hike, about 1.33 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a shelter where you can take a short break. Continuing on, at around 4.59 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Spielbodenalp, an alpine hut and café where you can grab some refreshments and enjoy the stunning views.
Along the way, you'll encounter two waterfalls, Sefinenfall at 0.57 kilometers from the start and Sprutz at 4.06 kilometers from the start. These beautiful natural features provide a great opportunity to take some scenic photos.
As you near the turnaround point of the hike, at approximately 6.02 kilometers from the start, you can visit the Bryndli peak, marked by an information point with details about the area.
Throughout the hike, there are several benches and viewpoints where you can rest and take in the surroundings. It's advisable to carry an ample water supply, as this is a long and challenging hike.
