This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Morgenberghorn. The trail covers a total distance of 6.36 kilometers with an elevation gain of 793 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
Starting off, you will find the parking area just 5.1 meters away from the trailhead. It's advisable to arrive early to secure a spot as the parking could get crowded. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Brunni alpine hut at 1.71 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at the 3.18-kilometer mark, you will reach the stunning peak of Morgenberghorn. The views from this vantage point are truly spectacular and worth the challenging ascent. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the surrounding landscape before heading back the way you came.
On your return journey, you will pass by a drinking water point located at the 0-kilometer mark, where you can refill your water bottles and stay hydrated. Additionally, you will find an information point at the same location, providing more insights into the area and its attractions.
