Welcome to the hiking route to Elf Loch! This super easy trail spans a distance of 1.512 kilometers with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.
The trail starts at Buckstone Snab parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various points of interest.
About 0.08 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter The Buckstane, an archaeological site and tourist attraction worth exploring. Further along, at the 0.69 kilometer mark, there is a water source located just a short distance off the trail.
As you continue onwards, you'll reach Elf Loch at the 0.76 kilometer mark. This beautiful body of water is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings.
Throughout the trail, you'll also come across benches for resting and information points to learn more about the area.
