This challenging hiking route takes you along the Biembachstrasse area, offering stunning views and a mix of natural and historic points of interest.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll come across a parking area right at the beginning of the hike. As you continue your journey, approximately 0.75 kilometers from the start, you'll find a water source to refill your bottles.
Around 1.0 kilometer into the hike, you'll encounter an information point named Schwändi, followed by another information point called Mueleren at 1.75 kilometers. These points provide interesting insights about the surroundings.
Further along the trail, at the 2.45 kilometer mark, you'll reach a restaurant called Wirtschaft zur Tanne. It's a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing your adventure.
As you hike approximately 4.72 kilometers into the route, you'll find another water source to keep you hydrated.
At the halfway point of the hike, you'll be able to explore the historic Schloss Thorberg castle, situated right on the trail at the 0.0 kilometer mark from the start.
Throughout the journey, keep an eye out for the Thorberg information point, located 0.1 kilometers from the start but just off the trail.
