This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Piolet de Bastiments peak. The trail covers a distance of 7.075 kilometers with an elevation gain of 723 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous journey that will last around 3 hours and 26 minutes.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by several points of interest along the way. About 2.12 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across Les Marmotes, a fast food spot where you can grab a quick bite to eat. As you continue onwards, at around 2.71 kilometers, you'll reach L'Esquena de l'Ase, a scenic saddle worth stopping at for breathtaking views.
The highlight of the hike, Piolet de Bastiments, sits at about 3.54 kilometers from the start. This majestic peak offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and is a great spot to rest and enjoy the scenery. Nearby, at 3.36 kilometers, you'll find another peak called Bastiments, adding to the beauty of the landscape.
Further along the trail, you'll encounter Pas del Bou, a lovely saddle located at about 3.44 kilometers into the hike.
