This hiking route takes you through the stunning natural beauty of the la Trona de Guardiola area. With a distance of approximately 14.959 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1001 meters, this trail is rated as extremely difficult, making it suitable for experienced hikers.
As you begin your journey, you will come across the Refugi de Coma de Vaca, an alpine hut located 6.47 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to rest and admire the surrounding landscape. Further along the route, you will encounter the Caseta del Canal wilderness hut, situated 3.31 kilometers from the starting point. While not directly on the trail, it offers a unique accommodation option for hikers looking to spend the night in the wilderness.
Along the way, be sure to stop by the Salt del Grill waterfall, located 0.8 kilometers from the start, and the Cascades waterfall 3.31 kilometers into the hike. These natural wonders provide a refreshing break and excellent photo opportunities.
As you continue your trek, you will pass by informative signs such as R110 Torrent del Bogader and R109 Refugi de Coma de Vaca, offering insights into the local flora and fauna. Additionally, make a pit stop at Roc Verd peak, located 7.48 kilometers from the trailhead, for panoramic views of the surroundings.
