This hiking route is an extremely difficult out-and-back trail spanning a total distance of 21.627 kilometers with no elevation gain. The trail is located in the New Road area of Rushcliffe and offers a challenging yet rewarding hiking experience.
As you start your journey, you will pass by several points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across Works Pond, a picturesque water feature just 0.48 kilometers from the starting point. Further along the trail, approximately 2.34 kilometers in, you will find a wheelchair-accessible parking area.
Midway through the hike, around the 10.81-kilometer mark, you will encounter Works Pond once again, providing a tranquil spot to rest and enjoy the scenery. As you continue your trek, be sure to hydrate at the various water points such as New Lagoon and the multiple Works Pond locations along the way.
Towards the end of the trail, approximately 9.16 kilometers from the start, you will reach Holme Pit, another beautiful water feature to admire before heading back.
