This hiking route is an extremely difficult 16.116-kilometer out-and-back trail that offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for avid hikers. The trail begins at a parking area and ascends towards Cruz Loma peak, which is located 4.18 kilometers from the start. At the peak, adventurers can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape.

Along the way, hikers will come across various points of interest such as the TelefériQo attraction, which is situated 4.41 kilometers from the start. This attraction offers visitors a unique aerial perspective of the area and operates during specific hours which can be checked on their official website. Nearby, there is also a viewpoint called Mirador Norte, providing another vantage point to pause and take in the scenic beauty.

As the trail continues, hikers will pass by a restaurant around the 4.41-kilometer mark, offering a chance to refuel and rest before continuing the journey. Further ahead, at the 5.51-kilometer mark, hikers will encounter llamas, adding a touch of local wildlife to the experience.

At the midway point, around 7.64 kilometers from the start, there is another lookout point simply named "mirador," ideal for those seeking a serene moment to appreciate the surroundings. Additionally, at 8.06 kilometers from the start, hikers will reach the final destination of the trail - Mirador Punto 50, offering a stunning viewpoint to conclude the hike.
