This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Kalcherweg area, offering a moderate level of difficulty with a total distance of 3.136 kilometers and an elevation gain of 273 meters. It is an out-and-back trail, meaning you will retrace your steps to return to the starting point.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Lärchbodenalm café at 1.57 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Along the way, you will also find a parking area, benches, and a viewpoint offering scenic views of the surroundings.
At the halfway point (1.57 kilometers), you will encounter a drinking water station, perfect for refilling your water bottle. If you're looking for a meal or snack, the Bio- & Wellnesshotel Feistererhof restaurant is located at the beginning of the trail.
