The hiking route at Schablweg is a super easy trail that spans a distance of 1.543 kilometers with an elevation gain of 68 meters. The trail begins at the Krankenhausparkplatz parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting your hike. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across a historic wayside cross located 143.89 meters from the trail.

About 0.77 kilometers into the hike, you will find multiple water sources along the way, each approximately 30-35 meters from the trail. These can be great spots to take a break and refill your water bottle if needed. Additionally, there are several benches situated along the trail, some closer to the start while others are located around 0.35-0.36 kilometers into the hike. These benches provide a nice resting spot with a view of the surrounding nature.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point. It is always advisable to carry an adequate supply of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on any hike.
