Starting at the parking area at Mautstelle Nord, you will begin your journey towards Kuchler Skihütte. Along the way, you will pass by various points of interest. About 3.86 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Truckenthannalm, a fast food establishment where you can refuel and rest before continuing on. Further ahead, at the 5.07-kilometer mark, you will find Nesslangeralm, a restaurant offering a place to dine and take in the surrounding beauty.

As you trek onwards, at around the 2.03-kilometer mark, you will come across Predigtstuhl, a memorial site worth stopping by to pay your respects. Additionally, benches are conveniently placed along the trail at the same location, providing a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The endpoint of this out-and-back route is Kuchler Skihütte, located 5.41 kilometers from the start. This alpine hut serves as a great turnaround point to rest and take in the breathtaking mountain vistas before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
