This extremely difficult 16.026-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Arbol “La Teja” - Carretera Arenas - Niserias, by way of Alles and Peñamellera Alta. With an elevation gain of 934 meters and a duration of approximately 6 hours and 2 minutes, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at the parking area located at the trailhead, hikers will make their way along the trail, passing by the beautiful Monte Río restaurant about 0.66 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to fuel up before tackling the rest of the journey.
