This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Mittelkanal. The trail is super easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The total distance of the route is approximately 1.6 kilometers with no elevation gain.

As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. Further along, at 0.25 kilometers from the start, you will pass by a restaurant called Kurfürst, where you can rest and grab a bite to eat.

Continuing on, at 0.33 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a water feature. This is followed by the beautiful Schloss Lustheim castle and attraction at 0.47 kilometers from the start. Feel free to explore the castle and its surroundings before moving on.

Throughout the hike, you will find multiple benches for resting and taking in the scenery. These benches are strategically placed along the trail, with some closer to the beginning and others further along.

It is important to bring an adequate supply of water and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike. As it is a relatively short and easy route, it is perfect for a leisurely day out in nature. Don't forget to pack some snacks and enjoy the beauty of Mittelkanal on this out-and-back trail.
