This hiking route takes you on a 3.493-kilometer circular journey along the Sentier du Littoral in a beautiful coastal area. The route offers stunning views of the ocean and surrounding landscape, making it a perfect choice for a leisurely hike.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Plage du Pontillon, a lovely beach located 1.27 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. You can take a quick detour to enjoy the sun and sand before continuing on your journey.

For those driving to the trailhead, there is a convenient parking area located right at the start of the route, making it easy to access.

Approximately 0.88 kilometers into the hike, you will find a peak that offers panoramic views of the area. While it's not directly on the trail, it's worth the short extra distance to reach this vantage point.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across various amenities such as benches, information points, and even a restaurant called La Bouillabaisse where you can grab a bite to eat.

As you continue on the trail, you'll have the opportunity to explore two cave entrances - Grottes de la Plage d'Escampo-Barriou and Grottes marines d'Escampobariou n°3 et n°4, located 1.27 and 1.37 kilometers from the start respectively. These unique geological formations add an element of adventure to your hike.

Remember to come prepared with plenty of water, as the route is 3.493 kilometers long and includes a total elevation gain of 68 meters. The trail is rated as easy, but it's always a good idea to check the weather forecast before setting out.
