As you begin your journey, you will come across a water feature located just 92 meters from the trail. This will offer a refreshing stop as you continue onwards. About midway through the hike, at a distance of 3.97 kilometers from the start, you will find another water spot, perfect for a quick break.

One of the highlights of the hike is the "Presqu'île des Sables" viewpoint, situated 0.13 kilometers off the trail. This viewpoint offers a unique perspective of the surroundings and is worth the short detour.

If you are driving to the starting point, there is a parking area named "Étang des Landes - Parking handicapés" conveniently located right at the beginning of the trail. Additionally, you will encounter the "Étang des Landes" viewpoint close to the parking area, providing a picturesque setting to start your hike.
