Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, hikers can fuel up at the Coll de Rates restaurant which is conveniently located at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across a natural water source approximately 0.52 kilometers from the start, perfect for refilling your water bottle.

Around 1.78 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint where you can pause and take in the breathtaking scenery. Continuing on, you will pass another viewpoint and an informational point at 1.45 kilometers, providing insights into the area's history and geography.
