As you begin your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area situated just 16 meters from the trail. This is a great spot to leave your car before setting off on the hike. About 50 meters into the hike, you will find the charming Coll de Rates restaurant, perfect for a pit stop to refuel and enjoy some local cuisine.

Continuing along the trail, at around 140 meters from the start, you will reach a viewpoint at Coll de Rates. Take a moment to admire the panoramic views before carrying on towards the peak known as el Penyó, located about 730 meters from the starting point. The peak offers a rewarding sense of accomplishment and even more breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

On your way back, make sure to stop at the saddle area at Coll de Rates, situated 180 meters from the start, and appreciate the unique natural beauty of the area. Additionally, there are bicycle parking facilities located around 140 meters from the starting point for those who prefer to explore the area on two wheels.
