As you start your journey, you will pass by the Großer See, a beautiful lake located 5.72 kilometers from the trailhead. Continuing on, you will come across the Anton-Renk-Hütte at 3.61 kilometers from the start, providing a nice rest stop with accommodation options.

Midway through the hike, at 6.12 kilometers from the beginning, you will encounter another water source before reaching the non-trail water point at 6.29 kilometers. Further along the trail, at 6.76 kilometers, you will find the Zirmesspitze peak, offering stunning panoramic views as a rewarding endpoint.
