Welcome to the hiking route to Wingate! This super easy route spans a distance of 0.815 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the parking lot for buses, you will quickly find yourself immersed in nature as you follow the trail. Just 0.08 kilometers in, you'll come across another parking area before reaching a picnic site at 0.07 kilometers. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy some snacks while surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.
As you continue on, at around 0.17 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a picturesque viewpoint offering stunning vistas of the surrounding area. Take a moment to soak in the scenery before moving on. At 0.26 kilometers, you'll find the memorial site of Baron Rothschild and his wife, a historic landmark with a rich backstory.
Further along the trail, at 0.41 kilometers, you'll pass by a water fountain where you can refill your water bottles and stay hydrated. Nearby, there is also a restaurant, "מסעדת מטעים", offering a tempting dining option for hikers looking to grab a bite to eat.
Before heading back, you'll also come across another viewpoint offering different perspectives of the landscape. Make sure to bring a camera to capture the breathtaking views.
