This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the hike is 8.823 kilometers with an elevation gain of 747 meters, so be prepared for a difficult trek that will take around 3 hours and 54 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the hike. Make sure to park your vehicle securely before embarking on the journey. About 3.96 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by a water source, providing you with an opportunity to refill your water bottle and take a short break.

At 4.32 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Hintergrathütte - Rifugio del Coston alpine hut, where you can rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Continuing on the trail, you will come across another water source, Oberer Gratsee, at the same distance from the start as the alpine hut.

Around 1.99 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the überfahrene Lärche information point, providing insights into the local flora and fauna. If you need a break or some sustenance, the Skialm pub is located off the trail, 126.49 meters away from the path.

As you near the end of the hike, at 0.16 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a moment to rest and take in the beautiful surroundings.
