Welcome to the hiking route to Oberer Gratsee! This 8.8-kilometer circular trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience in a beautiful alpine setting. With an elevation gain of 747 meters, this route may be considered difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous workout.
Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards Oberer Gratsee. Along the way, you will pass by a serene water body approximately 3.96 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
As you continue on, you will come across Hintergrathütte - Rifugio del Coston, an alpine hut located about 4.32 kilometers from the start. This could be a good place to rest and refuel before pushing on.
Further along the trail, at around 1.99 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the "überfahrene Lärche" information point. Take a moment to learn more about the area and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you.
Near the end of the hike, at approximately 4.32 kilometers from the start, you will reach Oberer Gratsee, a stunning alpine lake. This is a perfect spot to relax and take in the picturesque views before making your way back to the trailhead.
