This extremely difficult 11.61-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the breathtaking Lyfispitze peak. The trail begins at an elevation gain of 1430 meters and is estimated to take around 6 hours and 15 minutes to complete.

The trail starts from a parking area conveniently located at the trailhead, making it easily accessible for hikers. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find a water source where you can fill up your water bottles before embarking on the challenging journey ahead.

Around 1.31 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Lyfialm - Malga Lifi alpine hut, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along the trail, you'll encounter informational points that provide insight into the surrounding area. Additionally, there are picnic sites along the way where you can stop for a meal surrounded by nature.

As you continue on, you'll pass by the Dosso di Livi peak at around 4.01 kilometers into the hike, offering stunning panoramic views of the landscape. Make sure to stay hydrated by refilling your water bottles at the drinking water stations located at 2.53 and 0.66 kilometers from the start.

The highlight of the trail is reaching the Lyfispitze peak at 5.81 kilometers, where you'll be rewarded with an unparalleled view of the surrounding mountains. Take in the beauty of the scenery before retracing your steps back to the starting point.

Due to the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is recommended to be well-prepared with sufficient water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. Additionally, check the weather forecast before setting out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
