This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Bergkastelspitze - Cima Castello. With a total distance of 20.286 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1362.0 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart.
Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this challenging journey. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are limited facilities along the route.
As you continue on, you will encounter the picturesque Goldseen, two stunning lakes that are perfect for a rest stop or a quick dip to cool off. Further along the trail, you will find Stieralm, a restaurant where you can refuel and recharge before continuing on.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Bergkastelspitze - Cima Castello, a peak that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the area and snap some memorable photos.
