The trail starts at a parking area located right at the beginning of the route, making it easily accessible for hikers. As you embark on your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. Approximately 0.66 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source, set 140 meters from the trail. This is a great spot to rest and hydrate during your adventure.

As you continue onwards, at around 0.08 kilometers into the hike, you will come across an information point named Friesach, providing insights into the local area. Further along, at 0.17 kilometers, you will encounter the historic Marienkapelle Friesach wayside shrine, situated 169 meters away from the trail.

Midway through your hike, at 2.24 kilometers, you will reach Eggenberg peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, at the same distance, you will also find a viewpoint that provides a perfect opportunity to rest and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

Towards the end of the hike, at 2.24 kilometers, there is a restaurant called Gasthaus Weingrill, where you can refuel and relax after your trek. Additionally, 0.05 kilometers before the end of the trail, you will encounter another information point named Friesach.
