This challenging out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Monte Coronato in the beautiful area. The trail spans a distance of 7.048 kilometers with an elevation gain of 315 meters, taking an estimated duration of 2 hours and 25 minutes to complete.

As you embark on this journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the very beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area to leave your vehicle. Further along the path, approximately 0.59 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a rustic restaurant named "Il Castagno" where you can refuel and take in the picturesque surroundings.

About midway through the hike, at a distance of 1.63 kilometers from the start, you will reach the "Capanna dei cacciatori squadra del Tani" shelter, offering a cozy spot to rest and admire the views. Continuing onwards, at 2.83 kilometers from the start, you will find another shelter for a quick break.

One of the highlights of the hike is the majestic Monte Coronato, located 3.52 kilometers from the start. This peak offers breathtaking panoramic views that are well worth the effort. As you make your way back, be sure to keep an eye out for the "Sorgiva Pagana" cave entrance, located 1.85 kilometers from the start (although not directly on the trail), adding a touch of intrigue to your adventure.

Given the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is recommended to bring an ample water supply, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
