The Chemin des Côtes hiking route offers a challenging but rewarding experience for hikers. The route covers a distance of approximately 7.954 kilometers with an elevation gain of 662.0 meters, making it a difficult trail that will test your endurance.
Starting at the Parking mairie, you will begin your journey along the trail. As you make your way, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the Monument aux Morts, a historic memorial located just 0.21 kilometers from the start.
Continuing on, you will encounter the Clos de Fanny, a cafe situated 0.24 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your ascent. Further along the trail, you will find the Château en Ruines, an ancient castle in ruins located 0.21 kilometers from the start.
As you trek onwards, you will also come across the Fountain at a distance of 0.17 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing stop for weary hikers. The route also features a Picnic Site and another Fountain, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a meal amidst nature.
One of the highlights of the hike is the Viewpoint located approximately 3.98 kilometers from the start, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Additionally, you will pass by informational points such as Peipin (place du bon vent) and Peipin (place de la mairie), providing insights into the local history and culture.
