This challenging 8.678-kilometer circular hiking route on the D 53 trail offers stunning views and a chance to explore the beautiful area. The route starts at a parking area, making it easily accessible for hikers.

As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the first viewpoint just 1.55 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to admire the scenery before continuing on. Around the 2.57-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Signal de Lure, a popular peak with breathtaking panoramic views.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 4.03 kilometers from the start, you'll come across another viewpoint offering a different perspective of the surroundings. Be sure to stop and take in the beauty. Along the way, you'll also encounter various information points providing insights into the area.

At the midway point of the hike, make sure to stay hydrated and rest as needed. As you approach the 8.169-kilometer mark, you'll encounter the Ponchon du Roux, adding to the uniqueness of the hike. Finally, the trail leads you back to the starting point, completing the circular route.
