Located in the beautiful Pico De Loro Summit area, this moderate 6.014-kilometer out-and-back hiking route offers stunning views and various points of interest along the way.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find the DENR Ternate Parking where you can park your vehicle before starting your adventure. The trail starts off easy, with a gradual incline leading you to the DENR Registration point, which is located just 0.02 kilometers from the start.
As you continue on, you will pass by the Pico De Loro Campsite, a great spot to rest and enjoy the natural limestone water spring located just 2.76 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at around 2.29 to 2.36 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Ligaw Nodes, providing valuable information about the area and the hike.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the summit of Mt. Pico de Loro at the 3.01-kilometer mark. Here, you will enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making all your efforts worth it. Nearby, you can also explore the Parrot's Beak viewpoint for more breathtaking scenery.
For a relaxing break, there are picnic sites throughout the trail, with the first clearing located at 2.36 kilometers from the start and another at 2.11 kilometers (off the trail). Also, don't miss the opportunity to visit the Pico De Loro Campsite for a serene camping experience.
