This extremely difficult 19.645-kilometer circular hike on Camí de l'Esqueix will take you through a challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 784 meters. The route starts at a parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, you will come across the Font del Glorieta, a beautiful natural water source located around 4.12 kilometers from the start.
Approximately 3.87 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the historic Bassa de la Central, a fascinating ruins site with a natural water feature. Further along the trail, at around 9.69 kilometers, you will reach another natural water source, followed by several more water points located at different distances along the route.
For a refreshing break, you can visit the picnic area at Àrea de pícnic de la resclosa, situated just 1.82 kilometers from the start. Another option is the Àrea recreativa de Mas de Forès, a picnic site located approximately 0.06 kilometers from the trail.
As you continue your journey, you will come across Niu de l'Àliga, a stunning waterfall located 3.28 kilometers from the start, and Mas de Pere Miranda, a historic ruins site approximately 1.81 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, keep an eye out for information points along the way that offer valuable insights into the area.
