This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Torrent de Gerdera. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at an elevation of 1575 meters and reaching up to 1982 meters at the destination. The total distance of the hike is 5.087 kilometers with an elevation gain of 391 meters.

Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the alpine hut Refugi Lluís Estasen, a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the views. As you continue on, you will come across a viewpoint that offers stunning panoramas of the surrounding landscape. There are also several springs where you can refill your water bottle and benches to take a moment to relax.

One of the highlights of the hike is the Bauma de la Rua Gran, a cave entrance located 1 kilometer from the start. This natural formation is worth a visit and adds an exciting element to the trail.

Although the trail is relatively short, the elevation gain may make it moderately challenging for some hikers. It is recommended to bring enough water, sturdy hiking shoes, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey.
