This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you through the stunning Traversata Carnica area, offering a total distance of 12.548 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1002 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is about 5 hours and 24 minutes, so make sure to plan accordingly.

Starting from the Göriacher Alm, located at around 5.68 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, you will pass by several points of interest. At 5.84 kilometers from the start, you will come across a natural water feature, providing a refreshing sight along the way. There are also multiple water points at around 6.27 kilometers into the hike for you to refill your bottles.

For those who prefer to hike with breaks in between, there are benches located at 5.56 and 5.58 kilometers from the starting point. These resting spots offer a chance to take in the breathtaking surroundings and recharge before continuing on your journey.

Additionally, there are parking facilities available right at the start of the trail, making it convenient for travelers coming by car. A natural spring can also be found at 5.71 kilometers, providing another opportunity to rest and rejuvenate.
