This hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Bowscale Fell. The 4.422 kilometers long trail with an elevation gain of 363 meters offers a moderate level of difficulty, making it suitable for hikers with some experience.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across The Mill Inn, a pub where you can grab a meal or a drink before or after your hike. Continuing on, you will pass by Lorraine's Tea Garden, a cozy cafe perfect for a quick break.
As you make your way along the trail, you will also encounter Mungrisdale Parish Council, providing interesting information about the area, and the Mungrisdale 18th century Lime Kiln, a historical site worth exploring.
Midway through the hike, you will reach a peak offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural landscape. It's a perfect spot to take in the scenery and capture some memorable photos.
