This moderate 5.254-kilometer circular hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with an elevation gain of 273 meters, offering stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way.

Starting at the parking area, you will embark on your journey, passing by Gasthof Schweighofer, a restaurant located 0.08 kilometers from the start where you can grab a bite to eat before beginning your hike. As you continue on, at 1.53 kilometers from the start, you will come across Ilse-Rast, a scenic viewpoint where you can take a break and admire the beautiful surroundings.

Further along the trail, at 1.53 kilometers from the start, you will find Schedkapelle, a historic wayside shrine, and at 1.53 kilometers, there are information points providing insights into the area's history and natural features.

On the way, you may also encounter various cave entrances, such as Schedbauernhöhle, Dornenkluft, and Rinnenhöhle, among others, adding an element of mystery to your hike.

As you reach the peak of Grillenberg at 1.18 kilometers from the start, you can enjoy panoramic views of the landscape before making your way back towards the starting point.
