Welcome to the Gold Faced Mountain Trail in Taipei City! This circular route spans approximately 2.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 215 meters, making it an easy and enjoyable hike for all skill levels.
As you embark on this adventure, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the underground parking lot, a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before starting your hike. About halfway through, at 0.81 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a drinking water station, where you can refill your water bottle and stay hydrated.
Further along the trail, at 1.42 kilometers from the start, you will reach the renowned Scissor Stone Peak and Luan Jian Pavilion. These natural landmarks offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area, making it a perfect spot to take a break and snap some photos.
For those in need of sustenance, there are various restaurants scattered along the trail, such as Jin Guo Bei Hot Pot, Qingzhen Fengji Beef Noodle Restaurant, and KIKI Korean Fried Chicken, offering a variety of dining options to refuel after your hike.
