Hiking : Los Gallos

This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the beautiful area of Los Gallos. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 17.833 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1173 meters. Be prepared for a challenging but rewarding experience.

As you start your journey, you will come across Cortijo Sevilla, a historic ruin located just 0.27 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 0.05 kilometers from the start, you will reach Canal de la Espartera, a popular viewpoint offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, at 8.87 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Los Gallos, a peak with a cave entrance just a short distance away. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

Towards the end of the trail, at 8.92 kilometers from the start, you will reach another peak called Los Castillejos. Here, you can take in panoramic views of the area before heading back.

Throughout the hike, there are facilities such as benches and drinking water stations available to hikers. Make sure to bring enough water, snacks, and proper hiking gear for this challenging trek. Additionally, check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
