This challenging out-and-back hiking route takes you to the stunning Cerro Gordo peak in the beautiful natural surroundings. The trail spans approximately 8.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 496 meters.

Starting at the parking area, you will embark on a journey filled with breathtaking views and natural wonders. Along the way, you will encounter notable points of interest such as the Pico de la Carne peak, located 3.41 kilometers from the start, and the Cerro del Sol peak, located 3.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.

As you continue your hike, you will pass by the Canal de la Espartera viewpoint, offering a picturesque vantage point to rest and take in the surrounding landscape. For those in need of hydration, a drinking water station is available close to the starting point.
