This extremely difficult 18.258-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through stunning natural landscapes near Cerro de los Poyos de Monachil. The hike offers a challenging elevation gain of 608.0 meters and is estimated to take about 5 hours and 44 minutes to complete.
Starting from the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the Canal de la Espartera viewpoint, providing breathtaking views just 0.02 kilometers into the hike. As you continue onwards, you will encounter the Collado del Álamo saddle at 6.94 kilometers from the start, offering a perfect spot for a brief rest.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the impressive peak known as Pico de la Carne, located 3.41 kilometers from the starting point. Be sure to take in the panoramic views and snap some photos to commemorate your journey.
