This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a total distance of 14.124 kilometers and an elevation gain of 768 meters. The duration of the hike is approximately 5 hours and 11 minutes.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by Cortijo Sevilla ruins, located just 0.25 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue your journey, you will come across Canal de la Espartera viewpoint, offering stunning views just 0.05 kilometers from the start. Be sure to stop by Cerro del Espinar peak, located 6.8 kilometers into the hike, although it is not directly on the trail.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Collado del Pino saddle, 6.84 kilometers from the start, providing a great spot to rest and take in the surroundings. For a refreshing break, you can find drinking water at 0 kilometers and also at 7.06 kilometers from the start.
As you near the end of the trail, you will encounter a waterfall 2.35 kilometers from the start, adding to the natural beauty of the area. Before reaching back to the trailhead, make sure to visit the PR-A 20 / PR-A 21 information point, located just 0.01 kilometers from the start, and the nearby bench at 0.11 kilometers.
