This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you through a 14.124-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 768 meters. The trail is located in a beautiful area with various points of interest along the way.
Your journey starts at Cortijo Sevilla ruins, located 0.25 kilometers from the trailhead. As you continue, you will come across Canal de la Espartera viewpoint at 0.05 kilometers from the start, offering a stunning view of the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Cerro del Espinar peak, situated 6.8 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Although not directly on the trail, Collado del Pino saddle and PR-A 20 / PR-A 21 information points are located nearby, providing interesting insights into the area.
Make sure to stay hydrated as drinking water is available at the 0.0 kilometers mark and at the 7.06 kilometers mark. Additionally, a parking area is conveniently located at the trailhead for easy access.
For a more challenging adventure, consider venturing off the trail to explore a waterfall located 2.35 kilometers from the beginning. However, be cautious as this may add extra distance to your hike.
