This hiking route will take you through the scenic Brunnenauschartensteig area. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of approximately 4.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 372 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. About 0.05 kilometers in, you will find a natural water source where you can refill your water bottles. Further along, at around 0.65 kilometers from the start, there is another drinking water station for your convenience.

Continuing on, at about 1.88 kilometers from the start, you will reach another drinking water spot. As you approach the 2.2 kilometer mark, you will come across two beautiful waterfalls, one located off the trail and the other just 13.5 meters away from the trail.

If you are in need of information along the way, there are informational points at 0.64 kilometers and 1.86 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there is a biergarten named Alpe Simasgund located at 0.65 kilometers into the hike, where you can stop for some refreshments.

As you near the end of the hike, there are benches available at 0.64 kilometers and at the beginning of the trail for you to take a rest. If you're looking for a meal after your trek, there are restaurants such as Eibele-Alpe and Mittlere Simatsgund Alpe located at the start and 0.65 kilometers into the hike, respectively.
