The trail begins at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting your journey. As you make your way along the path, you will come across the archaeological site of Ruderi Acquaviva, located approximately 8.85 kilometers from the start. Explore the ancient ruins and imagine the history that lies within them.
Continuing on, you will reach Passo della Quercia del Monaco, a saddle situated 5.7 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you at this point.
Cima del Monte, a peak standing tall at 7.77 kilometers from the starting point, offers panoramic views of the landscape below. It's a great spot to take a breather and soak in the stunning scenery.
Further along the trail, you will encounter various points of interest such as boundary stones and a monument, adding to the historical significance of the hike. Make sure to stay hydrated by refilling your water bottle at the drinking water station located 1.57 kilometers into the route.
