This hiking route takes you through a challenging and extremely difficult terrain in the Peak Connector area. With a total distance of 22.231 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1242 meters, this route is not for the faint of heart.
As you start your hike, you will come across Lot 1, a parking area located 1.49 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the trail at 1.61 kilometers, you will find the Fitzsimmons Express Chairlift, an attraction that offers stunning views of the surrounding area.
Around the 10.51 kilometer mark, you'll reach the Roundhouse Lodge, a wheelchair-accessible restaurant where you can take a break and refuel. As you continue on, at 11.06 kilometers, you'll encounter a natural water source before reaching parking Lot 6 at 0.33 kilometers from the end of the trail.
